The best rap album of the year aptly titled R.A.P music gets visuals for Reagan. A sonic snapshot of the impact the war on drugs and entertainment industry has had on America. Lyrically it’s the kind of substance that doesn’t bog down the listener with the obscurity and over thinking some political raps contain.
“Ronald Reagan was an actor, not at all a factor Just an employee of the country’s real masters Just like the Bushes, Clinton and Obama Just another talking head telling lies on teleprompters”
Apart from that the art work is well done with simple lines of red white and blue over a black space. I’m not sure if that was intended but interestingly: red white and blue over black is the main thesis of the song.
